Norepinephrine and dopamine are the two specific neurotransmitters that are helpful for concentration. When you consume protein, the tyrosine increases and the neurotransmitters do too.

Chocolate Nut Banana Protein Smoothie

In a blender, combine the following and then blend:

  • 12 ounces of water or almond milk

  • 2 scoops of protein powder

  • 1 tablespoon of cacao powder or cacao nibs

  • 1 cup of spinach

  • 1/2 banana (or you can swap for ½ avocado)

  • 2 tablespoons of almond or nut butter
